Working in partnership with Waikohatu Marae, and the Provincial Growth Fund, the team at JPL have been engaged to undertake a full refurbishment of the existing whare kai (dining hall), kitchen, bathrooms and storage areas. This project represents an exciting direction for the team at JPL - becoming engaged with community development projects in conjunction with government funding agencies. The facility will receive a much needed comprehensive refurbishment which will service the marae community for many year to come
Starting with the construction of a unit within a barn, this project involves the demolition, re-build and extension of a substantial house. Working collaboratively with the client, JPL are managing the budgets and undertaking full main contractor responsibility on this challenging but exciting build.
Again assuming the role of design managers, budget managers as well as main contractors, the team are undertaking a comprehensive re-furbishment and alteration of an existing chapel. This project present an exciting opportunity to see a dilapidated chapel given a new lease on life!

Having previously won the coveted NZ House of the Year award, this client has embarked on the re-construction of an existing house just down the road from their previous award-winning property. The team are excited to be working on what will be a unique and spectacular home.
Undertaking this for a repeat client, this project sees the team doing a complete re-clad on an existing monolithic clad house. With black joinery and cedar cladding, this house has really been transformed.
