The bigger picture

At JPL, we believe that our day job is only one part of our lives; we strive to achieve a balance between pursuing excellence in our careers, as well excellence in our personal lives and societal interactions. At times, these realms merge and we get the benefit of using our day jobs as a means of contributing directly back to society. Check out some of our initiatives below:

We were able to donate a large quantity of usable plywood off-cuts from our Tuvalu Church project to the Orewa College Technology Department. Not only did we minimise our project wastage, we were able to contribute to the education of the next generation of builders!

"From the Orewa College technology department, we'd like to thank Jacobson Projects for the sponsor of enough plywood to last the whole year. It has allowed our learners to practice their skills, design and trial their own ideas, develop projects and also to make some workshop improvements. These recycled boards helped us take a step in the right direction with regards to reducing overall waste and also assisted in cutting material costs.
